Modern Retreat

A refined renovation of an architecturally distinctive residence originally conceived in the 1980s, this project was guided by a clear intent: to honor the home’s inherent character while elevating it into a sophisticated contemporary retreat.

Rather than erasing its origins, the redesign thoughtfully reinterprets them through a restrained, modern lens. Subtle indirect lighting has been carefully integrated to sculpt space and atmosphere, enhancing architectural lines without visual interruption. A curated palette of natural textures and materials—stone, timber, and softly layered finishes—grounds the interiors in warmth and tactility, while maintaining a clean, contemporary elegance throughout.

Previously underutilized, the property’s remarkable mountain views are now fully celebrated, with reoriented sightlines and refined spatial planning that draw the landscape into daily living. A series of discreet, cleverly concealed features further enrich the experience, offering both functionality and a sense of discovery.

The result is a serene, design-led home where nostalgia and modernity are seamlessly balanced—an exceptional transformation that resonated immediately in the market, securing a sale within just seven days of listing.
